Oporto Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Portugal. It begins with a par 4 against the famous nortada, the prevailing north wind, which makes it rather difficult. The approach to the green, which is narrow and doubletiered, turns this first hole into an excellent test for any player.|Although holes 4 and l1 are the most difficult ones, we consider the par-4 7th and par-3 14th to be the best that can be designed in terms of golf. The 9th and 18th, normally offer good opportunities for birdies, making a pleasant finish to a competition. In a superb atmosphere which is possible only among the traditionally hospitable people from the North of Portugal, the Oporto Club offers excellent facilities in its clubhouse, with a restaurant that is a general favourite of its members for eating out.
We was a bit annoyed that our tee time was moved, it seems that their accepted our booking on the day of their club championship . Eventually we was able to secure a tee time which allowed us to play 18 holes on the Sunday
Initial date requested was held pending Operator when I called to check rebooked and confirmed back to me A high percentage uplift over the actual cost of the course Good conditions and a great little course though, but club house could have felt more welcoming
Very disappointing . An uninteresting layout overall. the greens were superb but the rest of the course looked neglected. And probably the coldest welcome we have ever had at a golf course in Portugal in over 20 years .

Old Course with Broadway faiways. Pretty good putting greens. The clubhouse is a little bit to dark.
Der Schuhputzer war der Größte. Der Platz und der ganze Club ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber ganz ok. Der Pflegezustand des Platzes ist auch nicht der Beste.
Excellent course, may be short but has plenty of bunkers to protect, greens are quick and in great condition.
nice location Course was ok Greens not bad
Oporto is an outdated golf club (course & clubhouse), very poor maintenance except greens. The layout needs a redesign/upgrade (could be very interesting for an architect). The lady at the reception was smoking and the caddy master was totally unfriendly. We played at 3pm and the tree-ball in front let us play through only at hole 14 although the course was empty. We played on more than 20 different golf courses in Portugal and Oporto is the worst experience.

Campo en no muy buenas condiciones y monótono. Personal poco agradable. Cady profesional, educado y atento.
A nice golf course, ideal for our final days golf.
Ir más ver y satisfactory
Thanks to the nice weather the afternoon was delicious. Concerning the course : note very challenging, flat. No bogey. A nice round anyway.
