A class golf course. Great set up with good practice facilities and an excellent buffet lunch and clubhouse. They are also opening up or have just opened up a new hotel close by which could be handy for visiting parties.

Great experience. Website was easy to navigate and easy to pay with credit card. Communication was excellent to confirm dates and tee times picked. 5??

Fun seaside links course- could’ve easily been Scotland except for the perfect weather….greens were incredible….another great tricky quirky old school course…not much clubhouse but staff very nice…lots of locals not many tourists…

Generally wonderful in all respects. The only disappointment was at lunch, 2 of us ordered steak sandwich (it was very clear that was our order) but steak and egg came out. We were too hungry to send it back or question it, but we were charged 15 euros for these instead of 7 euros.

Estela Golf Club was part of our golf week in Northern Portugal. We have played a lot on Praia del Rey Golf Course in previous years but Estela can certainly compete with the holes on the sea side of Praia Del Rey! The golf course is beautifully situated and well maintained. The clubhouse is very nice with a lovely terrace and beautiful views. We played the course on 2 different days, once with almost no wind and once with a wind force 4/5 and had two completely different experiences! Without wind the course is challenging but easy to do, but with a strong breeze the course is extremely difficult to play!

Very challenging course with strong winds affecting distances. Everything was kept in very good condition. Greens and approaches were excellent, the fairways were quite narrow but straight shots were awarded. We would definitely recommend this course.
